Strategic Online Marketing post –

I just listened to another recording on the Daily Success Stream by Bill Bartmann, the Billionaire Business Coach, about, “6 Keys to Success.” I really like his stuff. This particular piece was very inspiring.

He said that all these keys to success are “entirely up to you.”

1. Learn how to think big — don’t just think incrementally.
2. Believe in yourself.
3. Share your vision — communicate your thinking and vision with others.
4. Execute — get started.
5. Focus — successful people do not scatter their thoughts by doing more than one thing at a time.
6. Never Give Up!

No one can control these things but you.

As Bill stated, “Your success and your future are entirely up to you.”

I think as an online entrepreneur my biggest challenge is staying focused. There are so many distractions on the Internet.

Strategic Online Marketing post –

I just listened to a recording on the Daily Success Stream by Bill Bartmann, the Billionaire Business Coach, about, “How to Write a Marketing Plan.”

Often times we get so caught up in doing our business, and we don’t ever take enough time to look at our business.

Bill stated that you can’t be successful by accident. We all need a plan.

He then explained the five simple things we need to put into our marketing plan.

These things include:

1. Your Product and Market – you need to answer the why, what, where, when, how and who
2. Your Business and Industry – how do you stack up against the rest of the industry; what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats?
3. Your Marketing Goals – have short term (1-6 months), intermediate (6 months – 1 year), and long term (1 – 5 years)
4. Your Strategies and Tactics – how will you accomplish your goals; what are your overall plans and action steps?
5. How Measure Your Progress – have measurement devices in place to be sure you are on schedule
