Web 2.0 Strategies – Social Media Marketing Tip
This week let’s continue covering how you can use Twitter to generate traffic.

“The New Facebook Groups Feature”

Facebook launched a new version of Facebook groups, and I posted about this new feature last month.
This new feature allows you to:
1. Easily stay up-to-date with people in this small community.
2. Share photos, videos and documents with your group–privately.
3. Send an email to the entire group.
4. Do group chat with members who are online.
To learn more about this, check out my post, “New Facebook Groups“.

Let me know if you think this information was helpful or what your experience as been with this feature.

As always please give me your comments. Also, let me know if you have any questions–Ask JC.

This week’s topic is…

De-Clutter and Get Organized!

I decided to de-clutter my home office this weekend.  What a challenge!
As you may know, I read a lot of articles, e-books, emails, books, etc.  I have a passion for learning!  But what you don’t know is that I prefer to read everything on paper — not electronically.  I print out what I want to read and then recycle or file the paper when I’m done.  I’m working on reducing my use of paper, but until I do, I needed to organize all my “stuff” because I haven’t been keeping up.
I had accumulated so much “stuff” that my office and library were looking like something out of an episode of “Hoarders”.
It’s taking hours to sort through everything, but what a feeling of accomplishment!
I’m vowing to all of you that I will never be in this position again.  I vow to take steps to become organized using electronic tools, and I vow to use my husband’s Kindle to read what I want (until I get my own).
Can any of you relate to this?
Let me know your comments.

JC,thanks for this info. How do I download the free e-book about blogging?

    JC Reply:

Hi, once you complete the form and confirm your email (get e-book), you’ll be directed to a page where you can download the e-book. Here are the steps to follow to download it:

    To download e-books:
    1. Hover over the link.
    2. Right click your mouse (or hold the mouse button down if you are using a Mac).
    3. Select “Save Link As…” (if you are using Firefox) or “Save Target As…” (if you are using Internet Explorer) or “Save to Disk” (if you are using a Mac).

As a special bonus, you’ll be able to also download another free e-book on that page, “A Guide to Copywriting to Promote Your Business!”

Let me know if you have any problems or questions.

Thanks for visiting and come again soon!

Aww… what a tease. Now I can’t wait to find that missing ingredient next week.

Very well done newsletter. You’ve got me hooked and most marketers aren’t able to accomplish that.
    Keep up the good work!

I’ve gotta go get myself a ‘like’ button!

OMG! What an awesome training event! I hope some of you were able to tune in to the livestreaming training event by iLearningGlobal. The trip was well worth the time to me and Ralph (my hubby). I’ll be sharing some of the insights we gained in next week’s newsletter. Got to pack and head back home.
