Personal Growth and Development
Have you ever had a problem that seemed unsolvable?
Today, I’m going to share with you some problem solving techniques using the Silva Method. Hanna Jameson outlined these steps in a recent email to me.
Problem Solving Using The Silva Method
Step 1: Believe that your desired outcome is possible and expect it to occur.
Step 2: Nurture a feeling of prosperity and abundance. Be grateful for everything you have.

Step 3: Understand that somethings will go wrong regardless of our preparation. After all, the goal may not be aligned with your life purpose. Also, a negative outcome may be a good thing in disguise.
Step 4: Determine the “real” reason you want something. This is called the “greater reason.” Stay focused on this, as Hanna puts it, “through thick and thin.”
Write these steps down, commit them to memory and refer to them whenever you face a challenge.

Social Media Strategy
Last week we explored which widgets and content for your blog. This week let’s talk about YouTube tips.
1. Carefully select your title. It is as important as the content. Integrate keywords. You may want to actually use the word “video” in your title, because viewers use that word in their searches.
2. Embed your logo and website into the video either in the text at the beginning or in an annotation during the video. You want people to remember your url and business.
3. Don’t get side-tracked trying to be perfect. Have fun, but do practice before posting the final video.
4. Write your script. It’s way too easy to mess up if you improvise.
5. Try to create a series of ongoing videos, so viewers know to expect a follow up.
