I listened to an audio by Les Brown, entitled, “It’s Possible” recently.
He asked the question…
“Are you a thermostat or a thermometer?”
Evidently, this comparison has been used for several years, but it was the first time I had heard it.
A thermostat sets the temperature, while a thermometer reflects the temperature.

People who are thermometers reflect what is going on around them. They adjust to their surroundings. They allow others to influence them.
Leaders need to be thermostats because they regulate and change conditions around them. They change their surroundings. Leaders develop principles and values and set the example for others to follow. They influence others.
So, are you a thermostat or a thermometer?
Success begins with YOU, from the Inside…Out!

Social Media Strategy
This week let’s continue the topic of YouTube tips.
1. When someone comments, be sure to thank them. YouTube allows you to delete rude or negative comments.
2. It’s best not to make your video as an ad.
3. YouTube allows you to choose a thumbnail of your video that will be displayed when the video isn’t playing. Be sure to choose it carefully.
4. Watch videos that are related to your business, and learn from how others present key points.
5. On related videos, take note of the tags. If you use the same tags, YouTube is likely to have your video show up along side that related video.
