To get started with SoLoMo, you need to:
1. Determine if it’s right for your business.
2. Register with location-based services (i.e., Yelp).
3. Develop promotions for your target market that create a sense of urgency.
SoLoMo isn’t for every business. It works well for businesses that need local traffic, like bookstores, restaurants and hardware stores.
If this strategy is right for your business, be sure to offer a call to action and provide clear instructions for opting-in.
