This Week’s Social Media News

Social Media News for Online Marketing Success”

I recently wrote a post entitled, “Social Media ROI, Steps for Measuring Campaign Effectiveness.”

I just read an article that does a good job of explaining why it is important to measure social media return on investment: “5 Reasons You Should Measure Social Media Return on Investment.” (The link is in the social media news section below.)

Measuring ROI only gives part of the story when it comes to measuring the full impact of social media. However, here are some good reasons to measure social media ROI:

1. Business people think in terms of ROI.
2. It gives a way to evaluate results.
3. It shows whether the resources allocated to it are justified.
4. You justify expanding efforts without knowing ROI.
5. You need to evaluate the impact of small changes.

This post makes some valid points. Be sure to read the entire post for details.

To help you stay up-to-date with social media news, here are some items that caught my attention.

This list is awesome! These certainly are news that every kind of people should know about. We should learn about things within our surroundings to keep our life on track. It is annoying to suddenly be surprised with changes. It is better to be prepared than waste valuable time on learning something everybody else have already learned.
